BioGPT is a Generative Pre-trained Transformer created by Microsoft for the purpose of text generation and mining in the biomedical field. The research team utilized data from PubMed, a web-based database of biomedical articles, which was updated prior to 2021. This data, which included 15 million titles and abstracts, was used to train BioGPT.
