Josh.ai provides a home automation system that is powered by AI language models. This allows users to interact with their voice assistant in a more intelligent manner. For example, instead of just being able to ask “Turn on the lights”, users can ask the voice assistant “I’ve had a rough day; what’s a good way to unwind?” and the voice assistant will be able to respond with “intelligent” responses such as dimming the lights, adjusting the thermostat, and playing something on Netflix. This technology is made possible by the OpenAI ChatGPT model. A proof-of-concept video was released by Josh.ai to showcase this technology.
